Utah--Emma

I spent a few days swimming with my cousins when I was in Utah at Grandma and Grandpa Olsen's house.
We all went to the capitol building in SLC where Grandpa Olsen works. We had a picnic on the lawn and then went to Temple Square.

Dad and I hung out while the other kids played in the fountain. I did not want to get wet that evening.

Tennis Match--Cole

The crazy, dancing eagle at the tennis match thought I was totally awesome. I am!
I'm posting this picture from the Forbidden City just because I look cool.

Water Fountain in SLC--Cole

We went to the City Creek shopping area in downtown SLC with our Seely and our Olsen cousins and played in the fountain. I loved it.

Washington D.C.--Cole

This picture was taken the day after I flew from Shanghai to Newark, New Jersey all by myself. I watched so many movies! It was fun to see Grandma Larsen on her mission.

Longwood Gardens--Larsen

This summer we went to Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania with Dad for the annual fireworks display. They had colored lights in the fountains and fireworks which blew off your ears.

Water Town--Larsen

We rode on paddle boats and had chicken heart kabobs which tasted a lot like barbecue. On the paddle boats we rammed each other, but then the lake patrol guy got mad at us.

Great Wall--Larsen

The view was amazing, but the steps were all uneven. Some were one foot tall and some were three centimeters tall. People wrote their names and the date they were there on some of the bricks.

Forbidden City--Tate

When we were at the Forbidden City, then we were SSSUUUUPPPPPEEEEERRRR hot because it was humid and over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. These are our somewhat relieved faces after buying ice cream at like the only vendor in the Forbidden City.

Great Wall--Emma

We were excited to finally reach the top of that section of the Great Wall and take a break in the shade.

Great Wall--Rebekah

We were climbing the Great Wall and we were really sweaty and we stopped at a little watchtower.

Beijing with the Morris Family

The first week of July we went to Beijing to visit our friends, Mindi and Shad Morris. They lived in Seoul a few years ago when the Seely's lived in Seoul. We had a great time hiking the Great Wall. We didn't enjoy the Forbidden City as much--it was too hot and crowded!

Alia doesn't remember much of the Great Wall--she was sleeping in the backpack nearly the entire time. More people were taking pictures of our family than of the Great Wall.

Tate -- Summer in Utah

Wow! We haven't posted in a while! Well, I'll post now. Here are my favorite pictures of my summer break (in Utah). We blew HUGE bubbles and did a beard contest, it just ended up as playing with shaving cream.
